Excell complete Brighton Marathon

Excell complete Brighton Marathon and raise £3,000 for the Teenage Cancer Trust

Dave Rogers and Richard Heather joined over 7,500 people in the inaugural Brighton Marathon on 18th April. The glorious weather and fantastic local support helped spur the pair on to record impressive times of 3 hours 32 minutes and 4 hours 36 minutes respectively.

Incredibly, it only took Dave a week before he was out again, this time running in the London Marathon. With 36,000 runners, this year's event was the most highly-attended ever and saw 41 successful world record attempts.

Rogers, MD, Excell SE commented: "I couldn't have asked for two better events to take part in. The support at Brighton was brilliant, and the amount of people running in London was just mind-blowing! We were continuing our fundraising for the Teenage Cancer Trust and I am delighted that we have raised nearly £3,000 so far. It makes all of the effort worthwhile."
