Excell appoint Matthew LeMaire as Group Sales Director
Excell appoint Matthew LeMaire as Group Sales Director After a sixteenth successive year of growth, Excell have announced another senior appointment as they embark on the next phase of their business plan.
With effect from 1st March 2009, Matthew LeMaire becomes Excell Group Sales Director with aggressive targets for establishing Excell as the leading supplier of converged voice and data solutions. LeMaire will be responsible for the overall Group sales strategy and the co-ordination of the sales teams covering voice, data and mobile solutions in the UK and across EMEA.
A familiar face to the channel already, LeMaire joins Excell following 4 years as a Business Manager and Sales Director at Cable & Wireless where he was responsible for developing and leading their Channel strategy.
Jamie Adams, Group Managing Director of Excell commented: "We have been searching for a high-quality candidate and believe we have found someone who is a great fit for our business. This is a vital role for our organisation, and LeMaire has a proven track record in driving sales and organisational success. He will play an important role in our strategy to continue growth and improve the customer experience across all of our products and services"
"We're delighted that Matthew is going to lead our sales efforts" said Excell's Chairman, Darren Strowger. "In addition to possessing a comprehensive knowledge of the industry he is a very relationship-oriented individual with a great track record of development and growth."
LeMaire commented, "There are a lot of exciting opportunities ahead. Despite the current economic climate I strongly believe that the knowledge and excellence within Excell, coupled with the converged offering will not just avoid the worst of any downturn, but could actually benefit from the circumstances. IT is nowhere near the epicentre of the current economic problem and can therefore ease pain, drive change and create a new way of working." He also believes that decision makers who focus on functionality and workforce agility as well as cost could benefit from the downturn.
LeMaire concludes "I look forward to working directly with Excell's existing partners and customers as well as introducing new processes and systems internally, It's a fantastic opportunity and one I simply couldn't turndown."
The news of LeMaire's appointment supports Excell's aggressive expansion plans incorporating both organic and acquisitive growth. We are led to believe that more exciting news is due to be released shortly.
