Excell’s proposition to Veolia Environmental Services was for Hosted and Fully Managed Unified Communications Platform, delivered as a utility service.
The Core solution comprises Redundant Mitel 3300 platforms located in Excell data centres along with Mitel’s NuPoint Unified Messaging platform and Mitel’s Live Business Gateway providing integration to Microsoft Lync. This enables collaboration and desktop control of telephony and video.
Mitel Border Gateway supports home workers whilst Mitel’s Dynamic Extension licences allow desk phone and mobile integration. Excell’s SIP Trunk services were the key enabler that aligned the solution fully with Veolia’s requirements to enable control over all in-bound call traffic and provide visibility and control of out-bound call traffic and usage patterns.
The five year Managed Service Framework Agreement is to roll-out 2500 extensions to over 75 sites. Self-labelling Mitel 5320 handsets are used throughout to simplify support. Larger sites have local survivable gateways with local PSTN breakout.
Mitel Contact Centre and Call recording is provided from the Excell Core enabling a virtualised contact centre for 100 agents throughout the estate.
A new, 5000 number, DDI range has been provided by Excell, enabling 4 digits desk to desk dialling throughout the UK. Utility style pricing is used giving a price per month per user to include all of the Core services.
