City Voice, with the help of Eclipse Sports organised a property 5-a-side football tournament on Friday 4th November to raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust and with the additional aim of developing and enhancing relationships within the property industry. Many property related companies were invited to take part including commercial agents, suppliers, contractors and project managers.
The event took place on a typically wet autumnal day at Vauxhall Powerleague, London. Twelve teams took part in the football tournament and their enthusiasm was certainly not dampened by the downpours.
The tournament was also attended and supported by several London based Football heroes:
Our host, Alvin Martin commented on a good standard of play and excellent sportsmanship and helped decide on the player and goalkeeper of the tournament.
Our successful raffle included a signed ball (signed by above players) and iPad Mini raising an additional £325 for TCT.
The tournament was followed by presentations, celebrations and some well-earned beers at the Jolly Gardener Pub down the road. The cup was presented to City Voice (fairly won!) with runners up being 360 Mortgages. The plate competition was won by team Excell which included guest player Steve Sedgley!
Thank you to everyone who took part in the event including: Gamma, De Villiers, Knight Harwood, Area Sq, Creative ITC, Peldon Rose, Property All Stars, Impact Interiors, 360 Mortgages and Imago Scansource.
Following the success of this property football tournament there are plans to make it an annual event, so watch this space and our twitter feed for more information.
