Please see below a summary of the various services we deliver in partnership with IFNL:
Managed broadband service
A wholesale Broadband service for the smaller business. Delivered over IFNL’s next-generation fibre network with the highest levels of service and reliability.
Passive Tube Access
This unmanaged ‘point-to-point’ service routes via the IFNL underground ducted network. It uses a physical blown fibre tube and is available for commercial customers who are located at specific points on the IFNL network. Fibre connectivity is also an option with this service.
Managed Voice Service
This is a PATS-compliant telephony option for small businesses offering exceptionally clear and reliable call quality via IFNL’s next generation fibre network. This service is connected to the standard copper wiring at your premises (CW1308 or CAT5) via a fibre ONT with two analogue POTS ports (higher density POTS ports are available if required). Battery backup is provided in line with OFCOM guidelines in the event of a mains power failure.
DataLink
This option for small businesses provides access to services such as Broadband or low bandwidth voice connectivity in a flexible manner that can grow with your business up to a maximum downstream rate of 300Mbps. The service is provided via Layer 2 connectivity from your premises to the IFNL meet-me point.
SIP
SIP Trunks allow your businesses to retain the advantages of your existing telephone handsets, whilst gaining the additional functionality and benefits of IP Telephony. Although not the first VoIP trunking technology available to small and midsize companies, SIP trunking will be the first to have a widespread impact on phone communications for enterprises.
Excell’s SIP trunking connects existing customer IP, PBX or Key Telephone Systems to Excell’s resilient hosted SIP platform, and delivery over IFNL’s next-generation fibre network ensures reliability and call-quality that is second-to-none.
You can also choose to deliver your data services over the same SIP trunk meaning that only one connection is needed for voice and data. Reduced connections mean there are fewer interfaces, reduced hard costs, better efficiency and increased reliability.
Each SIP trunk can contain between 1 and 120 channels, with each channel representing one concurrent call. Channels are usually scaled in exactly the same way as ISDN.
